Chronica is offline-first. Your shelf, sessions, notes, stats and badges live on-device in SwiftData. There is no account, no login, and no analytics — only book searches reach a server, and they carry nothing about you. iCloud sync is off until you turn it on; when you do, your library moves through your own private iCloud account, which we cannot read.
